Mont Ventoux

Mont Ventoux

Mont Ventoux is located in the Vaucluse department (84), just one hour from Camping le Mas de Nicolas in Saint-Rémy de Provence.

Its highest point is 1,912 meters above sea level. Since 1990, it has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, to protect its unique flora and fauna.

It’s undoubtedly the mythical summit that many cyclists dream of conquering, and it’s on Mont Ventoux that the Tour de France has written its legend. In winter, sledging and skiing take the place of cycling to delight young and old alike.
