This pretty town, known for its picturesque setting and above all for being the source of the Sorgue river. It&#8217;s surrounded by spectacular cliffs and an emerald-colored river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fontaine de Vaucluse offers a wide range of cultural activities, including the Santon museum, Fran\u00e7ois P\u00e9trarque library, ch\u00e2teau des \u00e9v\u00eaques and Jean Garcin history museum. You can also admire the Fontaine de Vaucluse chasm, explored by the famous Captain Cousteau in 1955.
