Since 1990, it has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, to protect its unique flora and fauna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s undoubtedly the mythical summit that many cyclists dream of conquering, and it&#8217;s on Mont Ventoux that the Tour de France has written its legend.
